If the task is complete, press Tab to move to the % Done field and type 100.

MacProject II indicates that the task is complete by filling its box with a pattern of dots in the Schedule Chart. You can also mark a task complete by selecting the task in the Schedule Chart and choosing Mark Complete from the Task menu. 

If the task is not complete, you can type a number in the % Done field to indicate the portion of the work that is finished.
